World Heritage Centre

The World Heritage Centre will officially open in spring 2022.

When the World Heritage Centre opens you will be able to:

  • Discover what makes Bath such a unique place
  • Find out more about the city’s attributes of Outstanding Universal Value: the hot springs, Roman remains, Georgian architecture, Georgian town planning, the social setting of the Georgian spa town and the city’s natural landscape setting.
  • Meet the World Heritage Centre staff and volunteers who will give you more information on the amazing history and heritage of Bath.

The app can be downloaded from both the Apple store and Google Play store by searching ‘Bath World Heritage’.

Keeping you safe

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors is our top priority and so we would ask everyone visiting the World Heritage Centre to help us keep everyone safe by:

  • Wearing masks while in the Centre
  • Maintaining social distancing and keeping +1m away from other visitors
  • Sanitizing your hands when entering and leaving the Centre

We will also be:

  • Limiting the number of people in the Centre at any one time
  • Regularly cleaning the interactive exhibits

Should you feel unwell/are displaying COVID-symptoms, please do not visit the World Heritage Centre.
